Schedule of Events
THE EXPO IS FREE TO THE PUBLIC.

By now, we are all familiar with the wealth that is created by the black community. Some estimate it to be as much as $700 billion, more than the Gross National Product of many nations in the world. Unfortunately, much of this wealth does not remain in our communities, allowing capital, jobs, and the independence that comes with financial viability to leak out of our communities. With the loss of money comes a simultaneous loss of power.

It is time for a change! The purpose of the BLACK IS GREEN: TALLAHASSEE BLACK BUSINESS EXPO is to create awareness in our community about the many black-owned businesses that exist in Tallahassee and surrounding areas. Come and see the products and services that we can provide for one another. The BLACK IS GREEN EXPO is a step towards educating ourselves about the true value of a dollar and strengthening the resources within our own community. In addition, it will provide future black business owners an opportunity to dialogue and learn from people who are already practicing the craft.
