Trust that little voice in your head that says
"Wouldn't it be interesting if..."; And then do it.
   Duane Michals - Photographer

I remember when, I remember, I remember when I heard "Crazy" was number one
In the UK from downloads and buzz on blogs
Getting around radio and videos
And it sounded like fun

And when you check it out on your own
all alone,
You'll find out why it's hyped so much
But it wasn't because you don't know enough
it's 'cause record companies don't grow enough

It's 'cause they crazy
the marketing's lazy
does it make playlists shady?
Definitely

And I hope that you enjoy how Ceelo Green and
Dangermouse vibe
Just keep and open mind, that's my only advice
un-premeditated genius, electronica and soul all
together sound too avant garde?
Ha ha ha bless your soul
Can't you see same ol' same gettin' ol'?

No? Well, you might be crazy
at least prone to crazy
sanity's pushin' up daisies
Just must be

"Go Go Gadget Gospel" is Jesus music drinkin' Red Bull

"I Try" counters with suicidal darkness, but still has pull
"Basically" is laid back, contemplative, like the
rock-laden "Smiley Faces" is fun,
And it's no coincidence I've come,
to recommend you cop this when my reviewin's done,

This Ceelo/Dangermouse baby
is my kinda crazy
like classic Martin Scorcese
that's just how it be

(Hum here at your soulful leisure)
