What is the TallahasseeBlackPages.com?
The TallahasseeBlackPages.com is an online magazine and business directory highlighting Black owned businesses and organizations in Tallahassee and the surrounding area. Advertising opportunities and event listings are open to the public. (NOTE: Event listings are subject to editing by TBP staff. All listings will be screened for inappropriate content and deleted at the discretion of the TBP staff.)



What are some of the benefits of becoming a TBP member? General Listing
  • $7.00 per month
  • List full contact information and business/organization description.
  • Display a link to your web site.
  • Offer coupons and special discounts to TBP Newsletter members.
  • Select 2 categories in which to list your business/organization
  • Your access is not limited to the Tallahassee community alone. The internet gives you access to the world.
  • Have the ability to update your business/organization information 365 days a year.
Enhanced General Listing
  • $25.00 per month
  • Includes all benefits of the General Listing PLUS:
    • Upload your business/organization logo
    • Upload 2 business/organization related photos (i.e. owner/founder headshot, product photo, providing service, etc.)
    • 2nd Tier Listing: Enhanced listings appear after the Featured Listings in the selected categories.
Featured Listing
  • $50.00 per month
  • Includes all benefits of the General Listing PLUS:
    • Upload your business/organization logo
    • Upload 6 business/organization related photos (i.e. owner/founder headshot, product photo, providing service, etc.)
    • 1st Tier Listing: Featured listings appear at the top of the directory listing in the selected categories.
Sponsor Ads
  • $100.00 per month
  • Post you banner ad on the TBP Home page and main web site pages. (This does not include the business directory, as those pages are reserved for the Featured listings.)
  • Post your logo in the TBP newsletter as long as your banner ad is active.
  • Your logo or photo and business/organization name will be displayed on the Sponsors page.
  • Post announcements, coupons, or events in the TBP Newsletter for FREE.



How much does it cost to list my event on TBP?
You can advertise your event on the TBP web site and newsletter.
  • TBP Newsletter General Event Listing: $25.00 per month
  • TBP Newsletter General Listing and graphic/flier: $50.00 per month
All event submissions must be sent at least 7 days before the date of the actual event. Click Here to list your event.



How to do I become a TBP member?
  1. From the navigation menu towards the top of the web page, hover the mouse over the 'Businesses" link and then click on the the 'Add Your Business' sub-link.
  2. Click on the 'Register' on the User Sign In page.
  3. You will be prompted to create a Username, Password, and E-mail Address that will be associated with your account.
  4. Fill in the required business information and select a member package.
  5. You will be forwarded to the PayPal checkout page to sumbit payment. Sirius Web Solutions is the owner of the TallahasseeBlackPages.com, and thus the name will be listed on the payment receipt.
Please make sure to read the Policies page before submitting your registration page. (NOTE: Your business listing will not be registered unless payment is received.)



I don't have a credit card, how else can I submit a payment?
We accept debit cards with a Visa, MasterCard or America Express logo. You are also given the option to submit an online check where the membership fee is debited out of your checking account. If you are uncomfortable with online billing, you may download and print out the TBP Business Registration Form and submit with payment to: P.O. Box 20648 - Tallahassee, FL 32316. Business checks and money orders are accepted.




How will I be billed?
Online Registration: Once you complete the registration and payment forms, the membership fee will automatically debited from your credit card or checking account every month.

Mail-in Registration: Once we receive your registration form and payment your information and/or banner ad will be added to the web site. You will be sent invoices based on the billing cycle selected in the registration form.




What qualifies as a Black Owned business?
A Black Owned business is one in which 51% or more is owned by a person of African descent.




I have lost my password, who do I contact?
If you have forgotten your password while attempting to access your account, you will be forwarded to a Forgotten Password page. You will be prompted to enter your e-mail address and the and click the Send My Password button.




My business/organization information has changed, how do I update it?

  1. From the TBP web site, click the Business Directory link.
  2. Click on the Log In link located towards to the top, left corner of the TBP Business Directory page.
  3. Enter your Username and Password and click the Sign In button. You will then be forwarded to your account information
  4. Click on the Continue To My Account link.
  5. You will be forwarded to the Account Details page where you can modify your profile, current directory listings, or add another listing.




I want to upgrade my account from a General listing to an Enhanced General or Featured listing? How do I complete this process?

  1. Follow the instructins listed in the previous question on how to Log In to your account.
  2. Click onthe My Listings link. You will then be forwarded to a page displaying your business directory listing.
  3. Click on the Upgrade Listing link.
  4. Select the package and payment type you would like to upgrade to, and click the Upgrade to this Package button.
  5. You will then be forwarded to PayPal where you will submit your payment information.
If you are uncomfortable with online billing, you may download and print out the TBP Business Registration Form and submit with payment to: P.O. Box 20648 - Tallahassee, FL 32316. Business checks and money orders are accepted. Make sure to notate the package in which you would like to upgrade.




I've had bad experiences with Black owned businesses in the past. Should I continue to patronize them?
Yes, we should continue to support Black owned businesses and recycle our dollars in our community. We should hold our businesses up to the same standards as other businesses by expecting quality products and services. However, we should not stop patronizing all Black owned businesses because of a bad experience with one. Every ethnic group has good and bad businesses. If you have had these experiences, find a respectful way to inform the business owners. They can use this information to help improve their products and/or services.
